An
Italian Spinone named
Piccola won the
Best Gun Dog Group 3 at
The New England Sporting Dog Show in Fitchburg Massachusetts earlier this month.
Piccola is owned by one of our customers. For winning Best Gun Group 3 Piccola was presented with a duck decoy with a personalized plaque.
We were emailed photos of the champ sleeping off the victory (perhaps the finest photo we have ever received)...
Is Piccola the only champ in the family?..
...No. Marco (pictured on the left) came away from the New England Sporting Dog Show with two
ribbons. Piccola is on the right with three ribbons...mmm...2 champs...one home...I suspect any real rivalry gives way to their "natural gentle disposition and docile temperament"...Italian Spinones are good like that...
Thanks for the photos!

No one ever takes me hunting!
All I have to show for four years on this earth is a stuffed duck from Orvis and a ragged squeaky lobster from some shop in Maine. At least Agatha & Louise know how to treat an out of town tourist!

Hi Denali!!
Glad to see your squeaky lobster is hangin' in there. Be sure to stop by for more free treats when you're back in Portland.
I hope Prospect Park is treating you well. You wouldn't be happy hunting with me- I always shoot high!!

Better that you shoot high than too low... I'm already short in the tail!
