Downeast Dog News has been nominated for an award in the canine newspapers and newsletters
category in the Dog Writers Association of America 2007 writing competition! The DWAA was established in 1935 in the Westminster Kennel Club's meeting room in the old Madison Square Garden. Each year the DWAA holds a writing competition "to encourage quality writing about dogs in all aspects of companionship including the dog sport".
We are very happy for Downeast Dog News. But I must say not surprised. It's a must read each month at Agatha & Louise. Even if you don't live in Maine you may want to treat yourself to a subscription to Downeast Dog News. If you love dogs..you'll be glad you did!
Congratulations to Holly and to everyone at Downeast Dog News...you deserve it!
